Frequently Asked Questions
The most common questions about The Black Book.
The Club
January 2027.
Applicants who pass referral and interview will be invited to a private founding evening in December 2026 before any financial commitment is made. The evening is an opportunity to meet the founding room, understand what the year ahead looks like, and decide whether this is the right place for you.
If it is, a seat is yours. If it isn't, there is no obligation.
An invitation-only private members club, permanently capped at 100 people. Founders, investors, family office principals, operators and executives — people who have built something real and earned the right to a room without noise.
Correct. Nobody here needs anything from you, and you won't be expected to need anything from them.
The Black Book exists for people who are past the stage of collecting business cards. Members don't pitch, prospect, or perform.
One hundred members. When that number is reached, membership closes. A place only becomes available when an existing member vacates their seat.
This is not a growth business. The value of the room depends entirely on who is in it.
The calendar is curated annually and also includes four international experiences.
What we can say is that every event is private and every detail is considered.
Membership
Annual membership is $50,000. It covers twelve in person private experiences, full access to the member network, private briefings, trusted introductions, and a range of lifestyle privileges with selected partners.
What it does not cover is entry. That is decided separately, through referral and interview.
Every candidate is introduced by an existing member or a trusted contact of the club, then reviewed personally before any decision is made.
The strongest rooms are built on character. The people who define this club are successful, yes — but they are also humble, genuine, and the kind of people you actually want to spend time with.
No. Black Book is not a venue and was never intended to be one.
The value of this club is not a building — it is the room. The people in it, the experiences built around them, and the introductions that happen between them. Every event takes place at a location chosen specifically for that occasion.
Members who want a desk and a restaurant should look elsewhere. Members who want the right hundred people around them are in the right place.
Standards
Respect. Discretion. Confidentiality. No solicitation. No self-promotion. No unauthorised guests. No media. No content creation at events.
All members sign a mutual confidentiality agreement on joining. Members are expected to extend the same privacy to others that they expect for themselves.
Black Book does not advertise and has no social media presence. This website is the only public point of reference. Membership grows through reputation and referral — which is the only way a room like this maintains its integrity.
